HeinOnline数据库是美国著名的以法律为核心，涉及政治、国际关系、外交等领域的全文数据库(网址：www.heinonline.org)，涵盖全球最具权威性的1600多种法学期刊，同时包含675卷国际法领域权威巨著，100000多个案例，1500多部精品法学学术专著和美国联邦政府报告全文等。该数据库所收录的大部分期刊是从创刊开始一直收录到当年，因此是许多学术期刊回溯查询的重要资源。该数据库首选PDF图像表现形式来原汁原味展现所收录的文献资料，并实现了PDF图像格式和文本格式(text)一键式轻松转换。由于其独特的表现形式和简单明了的检索方法，该数据库曾获得国际法律图书馆协会(IALL)、美国法律图书馆协会(AALL)等颁发的多项奖项。
